MORMON TEMPLE - UNITED STATES

Mormon Temple or Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah dedicated on April 6, 1893, after 40 years of heavy labour with a floor area of 23,505 sq m (253,015 sq ft). It is comprised of 5 buildings: the Tabernacle (home to the world famous organ); the Temple (no pipe organs); the Assembly Hall (1 performance pipe organ and 3 practice pipe organs); and two visitors' centers. Temple Square is the city’s biggest attraction, particularly the majestic six-spired Temple, topped by a golden statue of the Angel Moroni, which forms a striking silhouette on the city’s skyline.
